Here it is. The full speech from Des Moines this morning. I have decided that I am going to keep the TV pundits off of my television for the next week. The establishment is pushing back hard, and I just get too upset listening to the conventional wisdom regarding how an assasination can be spun to "helping" certain candidates because of the fear it raises in voters. I refuse to operate in fear any longer.

Voters of the Republican and Democratic Parties alike seem to view the "Audition" type debates we have been seeing on CNN/MSNBC this cycle as being a ridiculously dishonest version of what used to be known as "Debates". CNN has been attempting to give credibility to the "Audition" format by using You Tube questions tyo ask the candidates questions. One of the problems with that is that CNN get's to keep they're "Gatekeeper" status by selecting which questions are asked. Planting questions in "town hall" type settings has been done for decades, and the Conventional Wisdom Punditry has poo-poohed criticism of the practice based on equivication with the "Everybody does it" excuse. Today Voters have a chance to see something completely different, perhaps without planted questions by any of the candidates.

Good for Barack.
In light of the Novack article perporting a "Whisper Campaign" by Clinton Campaign "Agents", I have something to say about this.
There are those of us in the public, (regular people) that appreciate a man that will stand up for what he believes in and refuses to bow down in fear of smear tactics. I wholeheartedly support Barack in putting the "politics of Hope" into action. Refusing to let the Clinton "campaign" or Republican stealth hit squads (WHOEVER it is) define what the Politics of Hope is, speaks volumes to me. This is a perfect example of how Barack Obama is going to clean up DC.

I went to bed last night with the New York Times revealing that once again, we've all been had. This morning I woke up to Barack Obama being the first to say anything about it.

 Amazing news coming out of Pakistan in the last few days of Peace Treaties with the Talaban Militants in Northern Pakistan. People in the MSM and others are looking at these latest developments as not making any sense. There is sense to be made of these developements however, and it isn't "incompetence". The 911 widows have been trying to get these questions out for five years.

Conspiracy Theory......

That is the first thing that pops into my mind whenever I hear of any film challenging the official version of 911 as presented in the 911 Commission Report. The Loose Change crowd scares people away from seriously questioning their Government, and frankly, as cynical as I am of the Government of the United States of America, I am not in any way ready to conclude that 911 was an inside job.

How long is it going to take for SOME triangulating wet sock in the Democratic leadership just to start saying....."That's a lie" to every single one of these lies that Bu$hCo just CONSTANTLY chooses to throw onto the public stage?. I don't know about you, but I have been very interested lately in just how "Progressive" or how much of a "DINO" some of our incumbants are. All of the energy that has been around here lately with the Alito Vote, the Budget, and of course the Censure resolution that my hero Russ Feingold just introduced, makes this a good question. It seems that unless a person just sits around all day eating Bon Bon's and Drinking Coffee with Excel running on their PC to track votes, watching C-Span 1,2,and 3, You don't really know unless somebody else tells you. We always hear about the "big issues/votes" and watch with interest as our indigenous elected representatives vote on the issues of the day, but we are coming into a very serious election cycle and I was interested to find out how some of these people vote when we are NOT looking.
